I’ll admit it, I was a little hesitant to claim that I would rather listen to Froggy Fresh over 2 Chainz when discussing Froggy’s new hotness, “Dunked On”. After hearing 2 Chainz freestyle on Tim Westwood’s, Westwood Crib Sessions, I am fully confident in my lofty claim.

Normally, I’ll give emcees the benefit of the doubt in freestyles. I mean it must be hard to hop on a radio show and be expected to freestyle without screwing up, but that doesn’t apply, when you wait like 5 seconds between lines. Some of highlights (aside from Tim Westwood acting like he is listening to Pac freestyle) include Chainz calling himself three Chainz and rapping with a British accent.

My favorite moment however, was when, at the two minute mark, Chainzy (as my dad likes to call him) looks down at his shoes and drops the fire: “New shoes on this n***a.” In other words, it was the real life version of this:



Sorry to put you through that, but it was just too good to pass up. Now excuse me while I wash my ears out with some of that real freestyle shit.
