The Roc is in the Building


The end of the Roc-A-Fella era did not come to a happy close. In fact, it'd literally been years since Jay and Dame were last photograhphed together - crazy to think for two guys who were once business partners and still both very much in the mix (although one more than the other).

So even though this almost definitely doesn't mean the two are going to start working together anytime soon, it should make anyone for whom the "Big Pimpin" video was a seminal life moment pretty happy for a moment.

Next up, a pic of Jay with Beanie Sigel. I won't hold my breathe.

UPDATE: Diddy and Ma$e also reunited, which is exactly like Jay and Dame reuniting, only I care 1/58th as much.

Because Nicki Minaj's Boobs


Yes, it's true that we've already seen a lot more of Nicki Minaj's boobs then she so class-ily is displaying here, but especially following that twerk video, there's just something about Nicki semi-nudity that's impossible to look away from. She's like a car crash...that you want to have sex with...but you kind of don't want to admit it.

I try to run RefinedHype for the people, always be honest, and generally not give a fuck about what proverbial suits I might offend. And that, my friends, is exactly why Stephen Colbert is my hero. When MTV scooped a Daft Punk show he had lined up, he took to the airwaves and started naming names, and reading emails.

And then when Pitchfork decided it wanted a piece of the Colbertinator, he fucked them the fuck up too. Much like Wu-Tang, Stephen Colbert ain't nothin to fuck wit. Sweet baby jesus bless that man.

This Week in Boobs Are Awesome White Female Athletes Twerking


Ever since the Michelle Jenneke warm-up video became the greatest thing in internet history - you know, more or less - the world's been on the lookout for the next female athlete who's warm up routine is sexually provocative. Mission accomplished - enter surfer Anastasia Ashley, whose "twerk" warm-up routine has been making the internet rounds. Now, granted, quantity wise there's not a lot of tail feather to shake, but still...there's just something awesome about this.
