Kanye West’s Got an Alternate for That “White Dress” (Listen) Posted by Nathan S. on 11/14/12 | Filed under Kanye West, RZA

As I've written before, you're a hip-hop fan when you listen to new music, and you're a hip-hop nerd when you listen to alternate versions of songs that came out weeks (or years) ago. Well rap nerds unite! An alternate version of Kanye's "White Dress", off RZA's "Man With the Iron Fist" soundtrack has arrived!

The alternate version contains some more laid back and lush production than the original, a funkier instrumental ending and some additional vocals on the back end. Frankly the two are so similar it's hard to say which one is "better", but that won't stop my fellow rap nerds from breaking things down in full. Ultimately, both versions take me back to the good ol' "MBDTF" days, and I've got absolutely no complaints about that.

The new version is below the original for compare and contrast purposes. Enjoy:
