Yeah, I know, this shit first dropped on Friday, which in internet time means it dropped shortly after Alexander Graham Bell first invented the telephone. But I was in Atlanta and missed it, I want to write about Kanye's new "White Dress" and T.I.'s "Ball", so I'm posting anyway. Deal with it.

First up, Kanye's "White Dress", which feels like an obvious sequel (or prequel?) to "Devil in a New Dress". Either way, it once again proves that Yeezy's one of the few dudes I can listen to doing storytelling raps about a relationships without falling asleep.

As for T.I.'s "Ball", I dig this shit more than almost anything else I can remember TIP doing in a minute. But that may just be because it's got that serious '90s, Mannie Fresh vibe, this is like hearing a much older Lil Wayne rap on "Back That Azz Up", and apparently that sound now makes me a little nostalgic. In short, I'll take it.

"White Dress" is off the sure-to-be-ridiculously dope soundtrack to RZA's "The Man With the Iron Fists", dropping October 23. "Ball" is off T.I.'s upcoming "Trouble Man", currently slated to drop on December 18. I'm going to be watching "Trouble Man" closely, I've got a feeling it could do a lot lower numbers than most might think. We'll see, in the meantime, enjoy...
