Game Breaks Out The “Jesus Piece” With Help From Common & Kanye West (Listen) Posted by Danielle Harling on 12/05/12 | Filed under Downloads, Kanye West, Game, Common

Even if Game wasn't able to clear that Kanye West sample for "Rollin'" at least he was able to secure Ye for "Jesus Piece," the title track on his upcoming album and one of the project's most anticipated songs. Now if you're looking for some kind of mega-verse from Kanye then you may be in for a little disappointment. He lends his talent solely to the songs hook as spits, "Sum'n like my Jesus piece, huh?!"

Although "Jesus Piece" may lack a verse from Kanye it certainly makes up for it thanks to verses from both Game and noted Windy City emcee Common. On the record, Game doesn't hold back on sharing a little commentary on the Hip-Hop game as he raps, "Hip-Hop was better off when it was just Dre, Scarface, and Esco." The rapper remains pretty candid throughout and even comments on the shame he felt after the death of Notorious B.I.G. in his city.

If this record doesn't have you amped for the release of "Jesus Piece" chances are you're 50 Cent or you ears aren't working properly.

Nathan Update: Game really is the fucking worst when it comes to listing samples as a "feature".
