“I Ain’t Went This Hard Since I Was 18”: This Teenage Drake “Cribs” Episode Is Amazing

While we're all busy debtating whether he's the rap game Kobe Bryant, the interwebs was busy digging up a "Cribs" episode feature a teenage Drake, still a few years from "So Far Gone" and signing with Cash Money. (It's not actually "Cribs", it's a Canadian knock-off called "Unscripted" but come on, it's "Cribs".)

Highlights include Drizzy whipping a Acura TSX while calling people who drive BMWs and Mercedes "pretentious", dealing illicit chocolate to his grandma, saying Pharrell is one of his biggest idols, he's not "about material possessions", showing off a CD collection that features everyone from Aaliyah to k-0s, dropping some "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" punchlines and a whole lot of other hilariousness.

Of course there are "Started From the Bottom" jokes to be made, but honestly, my minds a little too blown to make them. When Drake was flipping through his CDs I had this realization: "Holy...sweet...baby...jesus...Drake and I had nearly identical CD booklet collections." I don't know if he alphabetized his the way I did mine, but either way, I feel like we now share this bond. I know he's on his "No New Friends" kick, but maybe it's not too late for us to become BFFs *sheds a single tear*.
