My mother used to say if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything fuck it, go ahead and say it. But I do purposefully avoid writing about Chief Keef, largely because I don't know how to write about him in a way that's responsibly critical and also doesn't "hate".

But.....

This one was too good for me to stay away. Having not learned the lesson every weed smoker who's ever stayed in a hotel ever knows, Keef filled an Atlanta hotel with so much smoke he got arrested, booked, and then released; overall the whole fiasco is just a festival of failure. Apparently we're still arresting people for smoking marijuana (fail), the hotel security guard dropped one of the more hilarious 911 calls you'll ever hear (fail), and Keef just got caught up while out on parole (fail). Well played everyone.

And as a kicker, Keef just came out with this new "Macaroni Time" video. Frankly, I don't understand a word he says during any of it, but that's fine; the "I'm purposefully not rapping thing is his thing. What am I curious about is what the bejeezus "Macaroni Time" means. I asked on Twitter and got about eight different answers - from "macaroni means crack" to "macaroni as in getting cheese" - which is a pretty good indication that no one has any idea what the fuck "Macaroni Time" actually means.

Come on, I know someone out there in RefinedHype Nation actually knows - enlighten us. I'd really like to incorporate "Macaroni Time" into my daily speech, but I need to make sure I'm using it correctly:
