When Eminem released the tracklist for "MMLP2", I think everyone had “Love Game” circled because it featured Kendrick Lamar. The saga song had everybody thinking it would be one for the ages, where a legendary emcee clashes with the new king of hip-hop. "Love Game" would also mark the first occasion where Kendrick was on a song with an emcee he mentioned in “Control”. Bodying Em on his own shit would all but secure his spot as the best emcee in the game. So now that the album has leaked, “Love Game” will finally answerer some of the hot topics we have been debating since “Control” right?

Unless of course they say “fuck it”, smoke a pound of weed, and make an absurd, off-the-wall song about two less-than-trustworthy ladies. If you were expecting a serious, head-to-head battle, you will be disappointed. This is a big middle finger to the whole “Control” debate, especially when Eminem starts listing rappers…except instead of it being emcees he’s better than its ones his girl has slept with…If you dig quirky, colorful and downright weird hip-hop than you will enjoy this track. I am really diggin it now—its different and like the ultimate “fuck you” to the who’s the best emcee debate— but I have a feeling the novelty will wear off. I can’t see listening to this again a few months down the road.

I would discuss the who-killed-who angle, but it seems kind of pointless since Kendrick sounds just like Eminem. I actually liked his verse better, but since he is rapping to sound like Em, I guess that means I really like Eminem better right? It's like rap game "Inception". Anyway, I expect highly mixed reviews on this song, some will hate it becase its fucking weird as shit and some will love it for that very same reason.
