This Week in Hype: Backstage at RevoltTV, Inside Funk Volume & More Posted by Nathan S. on 04/04/14 | Filed under Downloads, This Week in Hype, Podcasts, Funk Volume

It's Friday and you know what that means; Thursday was yesterday and Saturday is tomorrow. Both true. But also...it means it's time for a new "This Week in Hype" podcast. People of the world, rejoice.

This week, I take you backstage my recent Revolt TV appearance, attempt to set a new "fuck" record, bring on Funk Volume CEO Dame to talk about the past, present and future of the label and much more.

Discussed This Week:

* As always, shout out to RefinedHype Nation member Tino for that dope theme song.
* I attempt to set a new "most fucks per episode" record, a la "South Park". One million bonus points to anyone who actually counts how many f-bombs I drop.
* I was recently on RevoltTV, because you know. I describe the barely contained chaos behind the scenes of Diddy's new television endeavor.
* Funk Volume CEO Dame comes on to break down the origin's of one of hip-hop's most successful indie labels, how long he had to work side jobs before Funk Volume became a full-time gig, where the label's headed and much more. Word to Funk Volume.
* As a preview of Alex Wiley's upcoming appearance, today's closing track is "Vibrations".
