Since today is Halloween, unless you’re under the age of 14 the idea of dressing up as a super villain probably isn’t that appealing anymore -- unless you’re a sneakerhead. While you’re younger siblings are excited to go trick-or-treating, you’re probably scrambling to figure out what to wear to that costume party, hosted by the pretty girl you’re trying to smash. But how do you get her attention without seeming like a cornball? That’s where I come in.  

Now just so we’re clear, I am by no means a fashion expert, but I am a sneakerhead, and I can offer tips on what kicks to rock with your outfit. And since typical Halloween festivities revolve around supernatural figures found in horror flicks, I figured I’d provide some of the best custom-made sneakers inspired by popular scary movies to better help you choose the right costume. With Freddy Kreuger as the muse for this concept, the upper displays the mass murderer’s deformed skin and striped sweater, for this custom-blood-spattered paint job.

Based on the monster from the classic Mary Shelley novel in 1818, the shoe utilizes stitched grey skin graphics, exposed brains, and metal bolts to complete the look.

Paying homage to Jason Vorhees, the high-top silhouette features detailed imagery of the masked serial killer and his victims before their demise.
