Are Mac Miller & ScHoolboy Q Enough To Bring You Back To MySpace? (Video)

Posted by Danielle Harling on 06/12/13 | Filed under Videos, Mac Miller, ScHoolBoy Q

I'm not sure if you got the memo, but MySpace is slowly attempting to gain some relevancy again in the social media world. The Tom-created social media site even recruited the likes of Mac Miller, ScHoolboy Q, and Pharrell Williams for a new promo music video. Titled "This Is MySpace," they're certainly not skimping on the creativity, the video merely features a handful of musical acts frolicking around in a large, white room.

So, now that Chance The Rapper and Iggy Azalea have seemingly given the new MySpace their stamp of approval, are you ready to reactivate your old account and get to work creating that infamous "Top Friends" list? Although the likeliness of today's social media fiends rejoining MySpace seems almost laughable, I will say that if anything, the MySpace Music section did seem somewhat legit back in the day (those free concerts were pretty nice too) and looking at the revamped Music section it does look promising.

Aside from the occasional spam link on Twitter and those dreaded Facebook fan pages, a music or entertainment-dedicated section is something social media Titan's Facebook and Twitter haven't really touched. If anything, at least the new MySpace has that going for itself.
