Kendrick Lamar Just Dropped One Hell Of A Multi-Layered Verse On ScHoolboy Q’s “Collard Greens” Posted by Danielle Harling on 06/11/13 | Filed under Top Stories, Kendrick Lamar, TDE, ScHoolBoy Q

So, not only does Kendrick Lamar have the ability to rap in at least 30 difference voices on a record, but he can also rap in Spanish and occasionally engage in a little raspy singing. And the rapper does all of that on ScHoolboy Q's second "Oxymoron" release, "Collard Greens." Like most ScHoolboy Q records, "Collard Greens" is heavily on the quirky side. THC's production on the song, though catchy, is so uniquely up-tempo only TDE's craftiest spitters could master such a beat. Throw in an unconventional hook and you've really got yourself quite the rare record.

Although Kendrick puts forth one of his most multi-layered verses on "Collard Greens," it's not to say that Q doesn't get it in lyrically on the song as well. The "Habits & Contradictions" rapper puts forth a series of clever bars and consequently solidifies his place as one artist who easily has one of the most anticipated albums of the year.
