Here’s a Stream of Mac Miller’s “Watching Movies With the Sound Off” - How Does It Stack Up?

Well, well...with one day until the June 18th showdown between Kanye, Cole and Mac Miller, so far the contest has been everything we could have hoped for. An early leak that resulted in an official stream, an early leak that prompted more than 50 comments in a few hours, and now, an official stream*.

That's right, we've now got Mac Miller's "Watching Movies With the Sound Off" album officially streaming via the video below. It's the entire album's music, set to some soothing underwater footage. In other words, it's the greatest day ever for stoner Mac Miller fans.

I won't lie, I haven't had time to listen to this album yet - I spent the weekend trying to figure out how the fuck to feel about "Yeezus" - but that doesn't necessarily mean anything for "Watching Movies" sales. You might have to hear Kanye's album, if only so you can talk about what everyone else is talking about, but if you're a fan, you might need to buy Mac's album.

Forget sales for a minute, musically how does this stack up against "Born Sinner" and "Yeezus"? Let's try to hash shit out in the comments below. And those who are now feeling properly motivated can pre-order "Watching Movies" right around here.

Enjoy...

LISTEN TO "WATCHING MOVIES" & WATCH SOME TURTLES SWIM.

* Yes, I know this album leaked last week, but judging by how relatively little I heard about the leak compared to "Born Sinner" and "Yeezus", I don't think that many people had grabbed the leak yet.
