I can answer that with a swift "hell to thee no." Fact of the matter is the media needs something "controversial" to talk about and the closest thing they got to that was M.I.A.'s finger which happens to be in the middle of her hand. It was a bit uncalled for, but we've seen way worse on basic television. In fact, I think I heard the Geico pig call someone a "stank ass hoe" in a recent commercial. Okay, not really but you get the idea. M.I.A.'s middle finger aside, I really enjoyed the Super Bowl performance. They've been very lackluster these past few years so I'm glad Madonna (and friends) brought it even if there wasn't any actual singing involved.

Oh, and shout out to Madonna's amazing headdress. I can't wait for them to start selling those bad boy's at Urban Outfitters.
