If a Ludacris cried in the forest and no one was around to hear him, does he make a sound? What if he brings along Jennifer Hudson? Ok, so that's not exactly how the saying goes, but I haven't slept much lately. The point is Luda's got a new track, it's unintentionally hilariously called "Hear My Cry", it features some powerful vocal work from Jennifer Hudson and its pretty damn good.

"Hear My Cry" is off of DJ Envy's upcoming "Purple Codeine 27", hence the riding beat, banger rhymes from Luda and Jennifer Hudson taking on a more street-oriented approach to her vocals. "Dreamgirls" this ain't. Big shouts to Luda for addressing the economic hard times most folks are going through, something these other rich rappers apparently can't be bothered with.
