I always knew Bob Costas was part rap-reciting goon, part sportscaster and he proved just that during an appearances on the MLB Network earlier in the week as he recited part of Ludacris' "Hip-Hop Quotables" record. On the song, which was featured on Luda's "Chicken-n-Beer" album, the rapper makes mention of Costas with this particular line: "Now I roll up torpedoes, get blunted with rastas/ For a hefty fee, I'm on your record like Bob Costas." And Costas recited those words exactly during his television appearance.

Of course the inner pessimist (or realist) within is wondering if Costas really has part of "Hip-Hop Quotables" memorized or if someone fed him the lyrics. What do you guys think? Is Bob Costas really the rap-reciting goon we all hope he is or have we all been fooled?
