Fails: Lil Wayne Aware Of The Suckiness Of “I Am Not A Human Being II,” Says He Hates It

During a recent interview on Los Angeles' Power 106, Lil Wayne kept it somewhat real as he shared his thoughts on his latest album, "I Am Not A Human Being II." Well, he was honest for at least three seconds. When asked about the album, the rapper had this to say about it: "Uh, it sucks. I hate it. But it's a new album, it's for the people. It's 'I Am Not a Human Being II.'"

Like any artist with a good publicist, Lil Wayne quickly leaped into a little back-peddling after complaining about the album and instead doted on how "awesome" the project is.

"Nah, I'm joking, man. I'm proud of everything I do, man," said Lil Wayne. "Everything I do and everybody I do. But, um, it's an awesome album, man. I took my time on it, and, you know me, just the thoughts on the left side of my brain, I just put 'em together and made an album of it. And then, you know, later comes the rest."

Obviously, this is another one of those multi-layered fails. First off, it's pretty clear that Lil Wayne knows he released a crappy project. At least be honest about it. Second, if you respect your artistry you shouldn't release a project just for the sake of releasing it. My guess is fans would probably prefer to wait a few extra months for a well put together project instead of dealing with some half-a**ed release.
