How long has it been since Justin Timberlake released a new track? So long that I've literally never posted one of his songs on RefinedHype. Ever. (Although he did have a guest feature on a Game song one time because, let's be real, who hasn't been on a Game song?) Timberlake's absence is completely understandable. Who wants to go through the meat grinder that is music when you can collect movie checks, make hilarious SNL skits and fuck this woman?

But for some reason the man's decided to get back into the music game. After an absurd countdown to a trailer, we finally get his official single, "Suit & Tie", which on first (and second, and third) listen is underwhelming. The Timberland production is smooth, Jay-Z' guest verse is fine for what it is (rap verse aimed at pop radio) JT's singing is....good. But the final product just isn't hitting.

Maybe it's just a case of the "Detox"s; after such a long wait, what could possibly live up to his expectations. Oh well, whatever. Best case scenario he'll grab T.I. and get back to the dopeness (I'm secure enough in my manhood to say "My Love" was the shit), worst case scenario his upcoming "20/20 Experience" album will be lukewarm and my life will be the exact same.

So yeah, enjoy, or something....
