These days, all you see and hear on the news is about which country is on the brink of war, the economic crisis and other information that drives fear into your everyday life. I’m tired of hearing nothing but bad news, that’s why I decided to write about positive and inspiring stories that are overlooked by the mainstream media in "It's All Good". This week....

Ted Kremer, The Cincinnati Red’s favorite former batboy with Down syndrome, is now featured on his very own Topps baseball card.

According to the Cincinnati Enquire, Kremer’s card is included in the company’s 2013 update series, which usually includes rookies, players who switched teams, etc. For Kremer’s card, he is pictured walking arm-in-arm with Red’s manager Dusty Baker.

Kremer’s endless enthusiasm for the Reds produced an unexpected highlight during the season. Back in April, after the Reds third baseman Todd Frazier hit a two-run homerun, they tweeted out a picture below of “pure, genuine and beautiful happiness,” adding, “we all need more of this.”

After that homerun, Frazier told the Enquire, "I started smiling even before I hit home plate because I knew it. They said [Kremer was so excited he] forgot to pick the bat up, so the umpire was yelling at him. It was such a great a great guy. You can’t get mad — even if you have a terrible day. How can you be mad when you got a guy like that around?”

USA Today reported that the idea for the card came directly from Topps themselves. Typically only coaches, managers, and players are allowed to be seen on cards wearing the teams uniform, but in this instance the Reds made an exception.
