Game Gets Heavenly With His New “Sunday Service” Cuts, “Black Jesus” & “HVN4AGNGSTA” (Listen) Posted by Danielle Harling on 11/19/12 | Filed under Downloads, Game, Master P

For yesterday's "Sunday Service," Game's weekly music series, the rapper hit us with not one but two separate releases. I'm guessing the double dose of new music yesterday stemmed from that awful "I Remember" music video Game released the other week. Those rapidly bouncing booty's and dreaded auto-tune are still stuck in my head.

On yesterday's first "Sunday Service" release, "HVN4AGNGSTA," Game and friends (DJ Premier and Master P) ask the familiar question, "Is there a heaven for a gangsta?" This is one of those records you want to like even if it doesn't necessarily sound all that great. The song's got solid content, production from noted beatsmith DJ Premier, and an unexpected verse from Master P. All the elements for a great song are there, but the end result sounds way too clustered.

Next up we've got Game's "Black Jesus," who may or may not be Rittz' African-American step-brother. Now this song is hands down the better of the two in my opinion. It's dope from the jump thanks to banging production from SAP, a fitting hook from Dre of Cool & Dre, and of course Game's superb lyrical stylings.
