Game Sees “Dead People” On The Dr. Dre-Produced, 83rd Release From “Jesus Piece” (Listen)

Posted by Danielle Harling on 12/12/12 | Filed under Downloads, Game, Dr. Dre
With his "Sunday Service" music series and the occasional release of a record off of his "Jesus Piece" album, I think Game kind of overdid it with song releases this month and last. I understand that he was attempting to build a little momentum for the release of his newest project, but it got to be a little much. Regardless, yesterday the Los Angeles spitter dropped what will likely be the last release from "Jesus Piece," the Dr. Dre-produced "Dead People."

There's quite a few welcoming elements to "Dead People." First off, Dr. Dre keeps the production on the record heavily West Coast which is pretty refreshing. Second, minus the addition of some eerie singing Game takes this one on solo and even partakes in a little storytelling which is a bit of a change compared with past releases. "Dead People" may feel like release Number 83 from "Jesus Piece," but thanks to the combination of Dre's noteworthy production and Game's grim storytelling this one's definitely a keeper.

"Jesus Piece" finally hit stores yesterday, December 11, and features guest appearances from the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Kanye West, and Rick Ross...should you decide to care.
