Derrick Rose is no longer the only baller with a shoe inspired by his hometown of Chicago. Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade can now be factored into that equation. Under his Way Of Wade brand, the shooting guard premiered a special pair of black/red Chicago Li-Ning PE sneakers on the court for the first time against the Bulls on February 21 to show off his home pride.

Designer Eric Miller took specific ideas from the mid-west city for the shoe from the "The Black Collection", and gave the sole and collar lining images of the Chicago skyline, while the inside tongue has printed lyrics from Kanye West’s Get ‘Em High record, stating "I'm so CHI you thought I was bashful”, as Dwyane expressed he is a fan of the Chi-Town artist.

Unfortunately these are special player editions not for retail, but sneaker heads can expect US Distribution of the Chinese footwear company to hit stores in select NYC and Miami area boutiques in the near future.
