Check Out Busta Rhymes & Peter Rosenberg’s Awkwardly Fascinating Interview (Listen & Download) Posted by Nathan S. on 08/28/12 | Filed under Downloads, Podcasts, Busta Rhymes, Peter Rosenberg, Juan Epstein

In some ways this Busta Rhymes interview is some of Peter Rosenberg and Cipha Sounds best work yet. Busta's clearly still salty about the Summer Jam thing (how chivalrous) and is determined to be a kind of a dick and only talk about his "Year of the Dragon" mixtape (which no one cares about).

And yet, Rosenberg and Cipha manage to squeeze almost an hour of some pretty dope Leaders of the New School talk out of Busta. Did you know that Busta produced some of the early Leaders shit? That he just doesn't speak to Cut Monitor Milo under any circumstances anymore? Some great rap nerd talk on here - don't forget, Busta been around since the beginning.

Oh, and despite the tension, it's dope to hear Busta and Rosenberg agreeing that Dilla was the greatest producer of all-time. Ah, the power of hip-hop nerdery to bring people together.
