The Real Star Of HOT 97 Summer Jam...Peter Rosenberg's Nicki Minaj Comment

It was only a matter of time before HOT 97’s Summer Jam Hip-Hop segregation (the more genuine Hip-Hop acts outside, mainstream Hip-Hop acts inside) blew up in their faces. While hosting the outdoor stage which featured acts like Kendrick Lamar and Big K.R.I.T., HOT 97 personality Peter Rosenberg referred to Nicki Minaj’s music as “bullshit.” And shortly after the comment was made the rapper’s set was canceled. This is probably the only time I’ll ever side with Nicki Minaj, but you don’t invite someone to perform and then sh*t on them day of. Yes, “Starships” is wack but you work at a radio station that plays that song at least 88,000 times per day.
