This Week in Hype: The Lost Tech N9ne Review, Rap Names With GM & More Posted by Nathan S. on 05/09/14 | Filed under Downloads, This Week in Hype, Podcasts, GM

Last week I joked that the only people listening to the "This Week in Hype" podcast every week were drunks, and then some drunks wrote to me in agreement. Well then, looks like I know who my audience is - what up Michael!?

This week, I open things up by going on a mini-rant about my recent RevoltTV appearance, give the Tech N9ne "Strangeulation" review I wanted to, and bring on GM to talk rap names, how much we'd pay for the secret Wu-Tang album and much more.

Discussed This Week:

* As always, shout out to Tino for that dope theme song. You can now hear Tino's story in full on the podcast.
* I was on RevoltTV this week and disagreed with another critic's review of Tech N9ne's "Strangeulation". But before I could counter him, we ran out of time, so instead I'm going to drop my counter here.
* I've really been enjoying bringing on members of RefinedHype Nation recently, it's dope to know behing the user names and Twitter handles are actual human beings. With that in mind I bring on GM to talk about how he got his rap name, why I say "sir" so much, how much we'd pay to listen to Wu-Tang's secret album, staying healthy and alive as grown men and much more.
* Word to GM for coming on the podcast. You can follow him here,  check out his RefinedHype posts here, and listen to a bunch more of his music right here.
* This week's closing song, BadBadNotGood's mind blowing "Lemonade".
