Big Boi Proves His Dopeness By Rocking Pair Of Crutches In “The Thickets” Video

For most rappers, a knee injury means chillin' in your vacation home with two video chicks while eating Godiva chocolates and watching whatever the newest movie on Netflix happens to be. So, leave it to Big Boi to proclaim "f**k a knee injury" and proceed to film his "The Thickets" music video alongside crooning homeboy Sleepy Brown. Unfortunately, I haven't been keeping track of the number of rappers who have appeared in a music video while injured, so is Big Boi the first ever rapper to rock a pair of crutches in a video?

There's also a hell of a lot of authenticity with this "The Thickets" video in particular. You've got Big Boi failing to give in to injury and on top of that, the video is filmed in the rapper's picturesque hometown of Savannah, Georgia. At the same time, this level of authenticity shouldn't come as much of a surprise given the Outkast emcee's constant stream of creativity.

And in case you missed the memo, "The Thickets," is one of a number of tracks featured on Big Boi's second solo album, "Vicious Lies & Dangerous Rumors."
