I was going to save this for a "Fails of the Week", but as someone who's devoted a sizable portion of their life to chronicling Rihanna's titties, I just couldn't let this one pass. This weekend the interwebs exploded when a topless photo of Rihanna leaked, purportedly the original shot of her "Unapologetic" album cover, which would be great, except it's a fake.



Excellent point Rihanna, and shame on everyone who thought this was real. Come on people, it's not like we haven't seen her bare titties before - compare and contrasting isn't difficult. I guess I shouldn't expect everyone to be a titty connoisseur like the fine citizens of RefinedHype Nation, but still. Come on people.

I think the larger point here is that we've reached a point in our society in which "real" doesn't really matter. Who really cares if it's actually a topless pic of Rihanna, it looks like a topless pic of Rihanna, and isn't that really good enough? We've seen her real titties, this Photoshopped version is better. When the fake is better than the real, who wants the real?

And yes, I just got deep and metaphysical about Rihanna's right breast. My apologies, allow me to simplify: titties, titties, titties, titties, titties.
