I think it's now widely agreed around these parts that Fabolous' "Soul Tape" was low key one of the better releases in the last year or so, free or paid. The man gets plenty of hate, but for my money he's just flat our a dope emcee with solid to great beat selection. What more could you ask for?

So literally the only project I downloaded over the holiday break was Loso's new "Soul Tape 2", and I've been playing it off and on for a few days now. My initial reaction is that it's good but not as good as the original, but it could easily grow on me. That joint with J. Cole, "Louis Vuitton", is a little underwhelming, the beat on "BITE" is dope as fuck, it all adds up to something at least worth your time.
