Beyonce: "Would you like to watch me on your video phone?" Me: "Um....absolutely, let's do it." Beyonce: "There's one catch, Lady Gaga's going to be there too." Me: "Oh, really? Is there anyway we could just leave her at home?" Beyonce: "Nope, she's on the remix to my hit 'Video Phone'. Take it or leave it." Me: "Hmmm....um.....ok fine, let's do it."



1) In terms of sex appeal, team Beyonce and Lady Gaga features one of the largest talent disparities since Kobe was forced to play a full season with Chris Mihm and Kwame Brown's corpse at center. I'm trying to think of another time when I looked at the television and was incredibly attracted to one person on screen and completely repelled by the other...did Salama Hayek ever appear on "Roseanne"?

2) I will give Lady Gaga this though; she is crazy interesting. No matter how little you may "like" her, you're still watching/listening to almost anything she does. Case in point, this video. As soon as it landed in my inbox there was no way I wasn't going to click. Obviously she doesn't have the same longevity, but in this way Gaga's a lot like a young Madonna,

3) How hot is Beyonce? Even when she's surrounded by creepy dudes with cameras for heads while wearing those safety goggles you had to wear in 8th grade chemistry class, I'm still interested.

4) Not really getting the whole shooting ray guns concept here. What does that have to do with anything? Or maybe I'm just to dumb to "get it." Damnit, I've been outsmarted by Hype Williams again.

5) "Video Phone (Remix)" is off the the deluxe edition of Beyoncé’s last album I Am…Sasha Fierce, set to hit stores on November 23. You know, just in case you'd like to do some early Christmas shopping for Grandma.
