Give Biggie Covers One More Chance


At first I thought Melanie Fiona was just going to sing the hook on "One More Chance", which would have been dope, but not that incredible. Little did I know, she decided to not only create the beat a cappella, Reggie Watts style, but she even threw some some pretty impressive rappity-rap singing down for good measure. Now that's how you honor one of the GOATS on his birthday.

"GKMC", All Piano, All the Time


As long as we're talking covers, we've written about The Theorist before, and the man's still at it. By "it" I mean playing dope piano versions of hip-hop songs, and by "still" I mean he just did an eight minute recap of Kendrick Lamar's new school classic "GKMC" album. I don't really know what to tell you, if you don't at least respect this, you don't like talent, or music, or anything that's good in this world.

And shit, as long as this is a cover-centric version of "This Week in General Awesomeness", in related news, here's a violin cover of the song Kanye sampled for "New Slaves".

Teenage Big Pimpin


Whoever said if you don't ask for it, you don't get it probably wasn't talking about high school student Jake Davidson, but they could have been. The kid asked Kate Upton to his senior prom...and she said yes. Well then, I admire the cojones Jake.

Unfortunately, Upton had to cancel at the last minute. Fortunately, another SI model, Nina Agdal, volunteered to take her place. Sure, instead of getting an awkward HJ from his date after the prom he probably wasn't allowed to touch Agdal, but still, let's take a moment to give it up to the kid.

Anything's possible, at least on the internet.

Meet The Future of America


Yes, I'm aware that the next entry involves giant boobs, but if I can be allowed a moment of serious. Hell yeah nine-year-old Asean Johnson. Now that's how you give a speech that shames Chicago into keeping your school open. If I have a son someday, I only hope he can be as passionate and fearless as Asean. Come to think of it, I hope I can be as passionate and fearless and Asean. If you were looking for hope for Chicago's future, here it is.

For the record, yes, there is a point at which boobs are too big...I'm pretty sure this is that point. Still, I guarantee you watched every second of this. Ah boobs, there's nothin like ya.
