Listen, it's Friday, we get it. Nobody really wants to do anything that involves using your brain. So the new "Weekly Re-Up" will provide you with both the biggest "Fails" and the most awesome "General Awesomeness", as well as some other must see shit from the week, and of course some boobs. We will also be including a "Weekend Rewind" selection to give you something to listen to this weekend. It's a whole lot of everything.

General Awesomeness:

March Madness:

Honestly, this is the best time of the year. The weather is finally nice, but more importantly, it is time for the best playoff/championship series in all of sports, pro and college. Settle in for a month of exciting finishes, cheering for teams with cool mascots, and above all constant bracket checking. It's only been one day and we already have a few upsets (fucking Harvard?!)  and some awesome buzzer beaters. I nearly shit my pants last night when Louisville, who I have in the finals in all three brackets, almost lost to Manhattan. Of course I might be singing a different tune after this weekend if my bracket gets busted (don't fuck me Spartans), but even if your bracket is crap, it is still fun to watch, especially at a bar; you will never see so many people cheering for the New Mexico State, Stephen F. Austin matchup in any other context. Plus, we get to see random, awesome shit. Like the grandson of a coach running game on Ally Laforce.

Or maybe dancing teams are more your thing?

                                                           

All of this is just from the first day. Personally I'm rooting for North Dakota St to make it to the Final Four; just imagine that dance! It really is the most wonderful time of the year. Good luck and happy madness y'all!

Tyler, The Stan:

Earlier this week I wrote about how jaded everyone is about SXSW; everyone except for Tyler The Creator apparently. Above you will see him going absolutely H.A.M to Pusha T performing the Clipse classic "Grinding". I feel like a lot of rappers would be backstage drinking or standing awkwardly on stage instead, but Tyler is a real mother fucking fan. I mean he was more excited for that song than anybody else there. How often would you catch a rapper putting their image and ego to the side to go nuts for a song? Sometimes it's nice to know that our favorite emcees really do love the music and I would love to see more of this kind of thing. Anytime rappers act just like I would, it makes me very happy.

PBS Mosh Pit

This video went about how I would imagine a PBS mosh pit segment to go and it was glorious. The whole time I was thinking this was fake, and to be honest, I'm still not totally convinced it's real. Like, it is almost too perfect to be real. I want to believe in it, but I really can't handle another Santa Claus disaster. This is just too perfect to be real; whenever they cut back to the guy in the studio I lose my shit.  know PBS is government funded, but this just seems like awful planning even for them. "Hey I got an idea. Why don't we put our reporter in a loud venue, with a bunch of sweaty dudes all around him and have him report from there? Nothing can go wrong?".

These conditions are far worse than any weather man who has to report amidst a massive hurricane. You can deal with a gust of wind here and there, but a gang of sweaty, angry, metal heads? Forget about it. They tossed him around like a football at the Manning family Thanksgiving. In retrospect, reporting from outside would probably have been better.  All I could think about when seeing that reporter is this. Please let this be real; it has viral video of the year written all over it.
