You Need to Hear Too $hort Talk About NWA, Indie Rap & Vagina (Podcast)

I just got put on the Neal Brennan (aka the dude who co-created "The Chappelle Show") podcast a couple days ago so I can't vouch for it on the whole, but right off the bat I listened to his episode with Too $hort and sweet baby jesus is it amazing. (Caveat: It may only be amazing if you're a rap nerd.)

Short doesn't get nearly the amount of respect he deserves considering he's had a longer and more successful career than literally almost anyone - he went double platinum with "Life Is...Too Short" almost a decade before Jay dropped "Reasonable Doubt - which means he's got some amazing stories. Here's the short version:

* Coming into the rap game in '81.
* Making custom made rap songs for drug dealers.
* Opening for NWA on tour.
* Getting more vagina than NWA on tour.
* Helping convince Ice Cube to leave NWA.
