Poor Nathan had to go to Miami this weekend—please keep him in your thoughts—so I have been given the distinct honor of handling This Week In General Awesomeness as well as the Fails Of The Week. This is exactly why I went to college…to peruse the internet for awesome videos and of course boobs, because you cant have a TWIGA without boobs; its like having a day without boobs sunshine.

So lets get to the dopeness shall we?

Oh She’s Just Being Miley
While it wasn’t an outright ban on discussing it, both Nathan and I came to an unspoken agreement that we would not cover Miley Cyrus and VMA debacle. I mean, everyone and their mother had something to say. Frankly, I don’t give two shits about her or what she does/doesn’t do with her foam finger collection and anyone who does needs to seriously reevaluate some things. While I tried my best to ignore most things I have to admit there were two fantastic pieces of internet magic that had me laughing.

The first piece of acceptable Miley journalism was the Miley twerking on the news Tumblr. Both hilarious and a sad look at humanity, people are more concerned with Miley than you know, the potential for war in Syria. The subtitle sums it up best” If she's twerking on it, maybe we'll pay attention”.



Second was this mash-up of a clip from last week’s Breaking Bad and Miley’s foam debauchery. If you watch Breaking Bad than this is sure to make you laugh, especially considering what is really playing on that TV. If you don’t watch Breaking Bad,you probably shouldn’t watch this:




Bo Jackson Techmo Style


While the 2013 College Football season has just kicked off, Michigan fans are probably more excited for 2014 thanks to this video of their 5-star recruit, Jabrill Peppers. The Paramus Catholic senior did his best Bo Jackson impression, bouncing off about 12 tackles and what has to be the best 30-yard run ever. Oh, by the way, the dude is going to be a cornerback, but with skills like that, I bet they find a way to get him on offense too.

While many now know him as the tiger-owning, Phil Collins-singing headcase he is today. There was once a time when Mike Tyson was the baddest dude on the face of the earth knocking people out left and right. Of course the Mike Tyson I am mentioning is the one from Punch Out. To this day, there is no harder boss than Tyson on Punch Out; Many have tried, but few have actually succeeded in bringing down the 8-bit champ. The legend of Punch Out grows to this day, especially when we get to watch Mike himself step into the ring with Glass Joe for the first time ever; its as ridiculous as you might expect. Oh and you would think that if a guy had a video game named after him, his first time playing might have come when it was released you know like 20 years ago…


Music Video Of The Century


Rappers take themselves wayyyyy to seriously so when one breaks the mold, opting to make a fool of himself in a video, there is no doubt it will end up in TWIGA. The emcee who gets the honor this time is SonReal. The Canadian emcee delivers one of the more creative, hilarious videos I have seen in a minute for his cut “Everywhere We Go”. He dons an Napoleon Dynamite-esque persona as he keeps it 100 with his tough crew. The result is 4 minutes of awesomeness. Plus, the song ain’t half bad.
