The-Dream Drops Some Unexpected R&B Goodness On His “Climax” EP Posted by Danielle Harling on 06/03/13 | Filed under Downloads, Mixtapes, The-Dream

Fans of The-Dream must really need their R&B fix quite often, because only a matter of days after the crooner released his "IV Play" album, he's treated fans to his new "Climax" EP. Before you get too excited though and start lighting candles and whip out your silk pajamas, the EP consists of merely four records and two of them you've heard already ("ROC" and "Dope B**ch").

While I can appreciate The-Dream's eagerness to drop a handful of new tunes right after the release of such a major studio album, I can't say that I'm all that impressed with his "Climax" EP. "Com'on" and "Thirsty Whore" (such a lovely name) aren't bad songs, but I find that I'd much rather listen to "Dope B**ch" four times in a row than listen to the EP in its entirety. But that's just me.

Also, how do we feel about artists dropping free projects right after the release of a studio album? It doesn't seem like it'd be the wisest of decisions.
