Snoop Lion & Miley Cyrus Break Out The “Ashtrays & Heartbreaks” On Their New Collab (Listen) Posted by Danielle Harling on 04/03/13 | Filed under Snoop Dogg

A few releases ago I came to the realization that in order to enjoy a Snoop Lion song you have to first fully accept Snoop's transition to Snoop Lion. With that being said, I dislike "Ashtrays & Heartbreaks" purely because it's not a great song. The song just doesn't do it for me. Snoop's singing, Miley Cyrus' singing, the bubbly production that comes courtesy of what seems like 82 different producers, none of it seems to work.

Also, the record definitely seems more like it's Miley Cyrus featuring Snoop Lion and not the opposite. Now, I like Hannah Montana just as much as the next person (I don't really), but I can only deal with so much of Miley's singing on one song. Let's just hope we get more "No Guns Allowed"-esque records when "Reincarnated" is released on April 23.
