This Week in Hype Podcast: Jay-Z’ “MCHG” Leaks, 10 Minutes With DJ Wally Sparks & More Posted by Nathan S. on 07/05/13 | Filed under Downloads, This Week in Hype, Podcasts, DJ Wally Sparks

It's a holiday weekend, but my only real allegiance is to RefinedHype Nation, so I had to keep the "This Week In Hype" podcasts coming. Come on, you know I wouldn't leave you without some podcasty goodness to spend your weekend with.

For the latest edition, I talk about Samsung's failed attempt to keep Jay-Z' "Magna Carta Holy Grail" album an exclusive, talk to Big K.R.I.T.'s tour DJ, DJ Wally Sparks, about how to move a party, reveal Joey Bada$$ powerful new friends and more, plus a new giveaway from our official sponsor, IM King.

Discussed This Week:

* A brief discussion with future archeologists listening to this podcast.
* This week's giveaway comes courtesy of our new official sponsor for the month of July, the always fresh IM King.
* Jay-Z' "Magna Carta Holy Grail" quasi-leaked. Who are the winners, who are the losers?
* "10 Minutes With Someone Dope" guest, DJ Wally Sparks. We talk what distinguishes a dope DJ from an average one, songs that bang in every city and more.
* You should follow Wally here, and check out some of his actually mixed mixtapes here and here.
* Joey Bada$$ gets a powerful friend in Lyor Cohen, what does that mean for "indie" hip-hop?
* This week's closing song, Jay-Z' "Tom Ford".

You want to get the podcast before everyone else, and therefore win this weeks give away. Ipso ergo facto, you need to subscribe to subscribe to "This Week in Hype" on iTunes. It's just common sense.

Enjoy...
