The 2013 NFL season doesn’t begin for another five months, but it’s pretty evident the folks at Reebok are in a football-state-of-mind with the release of their Scrimmage Mid collection. Originally introduced in 1992, the Scrimmage Mid features authentic training details including a molded midfoot strap, a PVC heel counter for support, and Hexalite technology underfoot for cushioning.

Taking cues from spring's lifestyle trend of training silhouettes, the kicks boast a turf inspired outsole for traction and multi-directional training; the Reebok Classic Scrimmage Mid has an aggressive attitude and bold presence. And since training camp will be here before we know it, the new Scrimmage Mid will drop on April 12, in a spring colorway of teal/black/steel/white/orange, as well as authentic training inspired colorways like black/white/red and black/white/cleat grey/blue.

The shoes will be available at FinishLine, Foot Locker, Champs, City Gear, and Reebok.com for $100.
