Fails: Ray J’s “I Hit It First” Gets Even Cornier With The Release Of The Song’s Music VideoPosted by Danielle Harling on 04/29/13 | Filed under Videos, Fails, Ray-J |
First it was the "I Hit It First" cover art, then we were hit with the actual song, following that we were unfortunately bombarded with an endless number of radio interviews with Ray J. And in each interview he swore up and down that the song wasn't about anyone in particular. Today, we were finally "treated" to the song's music video and from the looks of the downgraded version of Kim Kardashian in the visual we can rightfully assume that "I Hit It First" is all about Kim K.
On top of the Kim K clone, the "I Hit It First" video absolutely oozes balls of corn. The glow-in-the-dark car complete with matching glow-in-the-dark jet, really? Talk about trying too hard. There's also the cheesy fake paparazzi footage and the home video-inspired clips. If anything, at least Ray J has milked "I Hit It First" for everything it's worth and we won't have to deal with the singer for at least a few more months.
Nathan Update:
Calling the Kim K look-alike in this Ray J video a Kim K look-alike is an insult to Kim K look-alikes.
