You may or may not remember New York City resident Jimmy McMillan's speech at the New York Governor Debate a few years back. Representing the Rent Is Too Damn High Party, McMillan went on to express his disgust at rent prices in the city. Well, McMillan has returned and he's tapped into his inner emcee for his "Rent Is Too Damn High" anthem. Seriously, you can't make this stuff up folks.

Honestly, I can't be too mad at the "Rent Is Too Damn High" anthem because if that $3,794 average for rent in Manhattan is correct then that's clearly an issue that needs to be addressed. And you have to admit that the song is moderately catchy.

Not sure if I'd want Jimmy McMillan as the mayor of my city, but his "Rent Is Too Damn High" anthem is pretty damn awesome. At the same time, I can see how the song could lean towards fail since it is pretty gimmicky. Feel free to choose your side in the poll below.
