It must be great to have fans that'll buy your music regardless of how immensely underwhelming it is and Nicki Minaj's newest cut, "High School," is about as underwhelming as they come. You ever find yourself having to restart a song numerous times because by the time the three-minute mark rolled around you had no idea what you just listened to because you unknowingly daydreamed your way through half of it? Well, "High School" is that song.

"High School" finds Nicki Minaj linking up with fellow Young Money titan Lil Wayne as the two swap verses on a particular love interest in their lives. Both verses come across as pretty standard, they're your typical Nicki and Wayne verses that happen to surround a sultry, pop-infused hook that also comes courtesy of Minaj. With production from Boi-1da and T-Minus I was hoping that might be "High School's" one saving grace, but no such luck. The beat's far from awful, but it certainly didn't keep my attention.
