Even in the internet age hip-hop can be surprisingly local. So while it's nearly impossible to go out in Los Angeles without running into at least one-member of Strong Arm Steady, I've got a feeling some of my friends east of the Mississippi might be unfamiliar with the consummate west coast crew's work.

So now that Mitchy Slick, also known as one-third of SAS, has dropped his new solo album, "Feet Match the Paint", this is the perfect opportunity to get caught the fuck up on Mitchy. Even better, Mitchy must have been anticipating this article, because he wrote "The Crown", a track that's essentially the man's music resume. Since he takes the time to spell out some of his biggest rap collaborations, I figured I'd do the same and get my "Decoded" on.
