Oh Sh*t, Missy Elliott is Back! “9th Inning” x “Triple Threat” (Listen) Posted by Nathan S. on 09/18/12 | Filed under Timbaland, Missy Elliott

Oh shit, the universe has apparently conspired to get us all talking about Missy Elliott again. Literally hours after we launched into a discussion about female hip-hop producers, Missy Elliott made her triumphant comeback with not one but two new singles, '9th Inning" and "Triple Threat".

Let's just remember what we're dealing with here. Missy is not one of the best female artists in hip-hop history, she's one of the best artists in hip-hop history. Between her emceeing, producing and songwriting she's been responsible for more dope, truly innovative music than almost anyone else. Goddamn it's good to have you back Missy.

Stream of both records is below the must watch new interview from the Breakfast Club where Missy talks about Graves disease, the Drake x Aaliyah album and more. Missy's "Block Party" is due out before "Detox", hopefully by this winter. In the meantime, enjoy:
