#Illuminati Holy Shit, the “Izzo” Video Prophesied Jay-Z’ “Magna Carta”Posted by Lucas Garrison on 06/17/13 | Filed under Videos, Jay-Z, Beyonce, Illuminati |
After the 18th, all eyes will be on Jay-Z, who has taken the internetz by storm with his new 3-minute commercial for Samsung…I mean his new free album, Magna Carta Holy Grail, to be released on July 4th. Since we can’t really do anything but wait, why not take a look back at one of Jigga Man’s classics, "Izzo (H.O.V.A.)" and a few strange coincidences that might have predicted Jay's future (Illuminati anyone??).
I thought it was pretty funny that throughout the while video, Jay is pushed like a commodity. His face is on everything from cigars to water bottles, which, of course are used to douse video models. Hell, they even have Roc foam fingers which are, sadly, not available on EBay (yes I checked). The video is kind of fitting especially considering how Magna Carta is being pushed. The whole Samsung angle is basically the "Izzo (H.O.V.A)" on steroids. Instead of water bottles, Jay using his brand/face for a cell phone company to use at halftime of the NBA finals; it makes water bottles look like child’s play.
Another look into the future, which is definitely not but totally is the work of the Illuminati is the Barclay sign on one of the buildings. It might be the name of a hotel and is nothing more than a strange coincidence now that Jay has the Barclay’s Center, but maybe the Illuminati has been using us all as puppets in a ten year plan to invade sports and music. Hide yo wife hide yo kids! Is nothing safe anymore?!
There are a few great cameos too; its basically a who’s who of 2001. Nelly and Eve make appearances, but they are overshadowed by a few others including shirtless Dame Dash, who isn’t fat, but isn’t jacked; kinda weird for him to be rocking the no shirt look. Maybe he refused to wear a shirt because he knew he wouldn’t look as cool as Kanye does in his camouflage Padres uni. Also, I love the way Kanye shows us his ink. Maybe he just got it that day and really wanted to show it off, but its still a little strange nonetheless. The best cameo, however, came from the former Hov-ess, Beyonce. Only the Illuminati could have guessed that those two would go on to become hip-hops biggest couple since Fantasia & Young Dro.
What the future holds for Jigga and the Magna Carter/Samsung album only the Illuminati knows. For the rest of us, all we can do is reminisce on how far the biggest name in hip-hop has come:
