I'll be honest. After literally writing a few thousands words about Big Sean's Kendrick Lamar's hip-hop takeover , I'm feeling a little burnt out on the whole "Control" thing. Sweet baby jesus knows I didn't have it in me to post all the so-called response tracks, even the dope ones.

But, after Lupe Fiasco dropped this possibly dope, possibly bizarre, definitely confusing "SLR2" response to Kendrick, which may or may not be an actual response, I had to drag myself off the canvas and come through for RefinedHype Nation. And I'm going to need some help, so I brought in "This Week in Hype" alum The Rap Critic for an emergency podcast to try to figure out just what the fuck Lupe was thinking, and what to make off "SLR2".
