I'm about to talk it back, like all the way back, like "taping rap radio shows off your boombox" all the way back. Ok, so a stream of Mister Cee's "Biggie vs. Jay-Z vs. Nas" set on Hot 97 isn't exactly pulling out the ol' Memorex, it's as close as we're going to get these days. Just let me have my moment.

Whether or not you get the same sense of nostalgia as I do when hearing this (or if you even know what a "tape" is), ultimately the effect is the same. You've got a nearly hour-long mix of the dopest work from three of the best emcees ever. Just where those three emcees rank, that's a debate that's been raging for literally well over a decade now.

p.s. - When you really think about it, it's a hip-hop tragedy that Nas has done track with Jay-Z and Biggie, Biggie has done track with Jay-Z and Nas, and Jay-Z has done tracks with Biggie and Nas, but the three never got on the same track. If Biggie had lived even another five years you've got to believe that would have happened.
