God I Hate This Ghostwridah “Final Thought (Heat Anthem)” (Listen & Download)

As regular readers know I have two loves in this world: hip-hop and sports (and my family blah blah blah), so if dope Miami emcee Ghostwridah keeps up his recent streak of sports related new joints (see previous effort "Down Goes Frazier") the man's going to quickly become one of my favorite emcees - even if his new joint "Final Thoughts (Heat Anthem)" makes me throw up in my mouth a little bit.

Let me be clear. On a purely musical level this is a nice track (it was supposed to be featured on "NBA 2K11" but missed the deadline), but God do I hate the Heat, or more accurately, I can't wait for the season to start because I just know I'm going to love hating the Heat. I won't rehash "my thoughts on The Decision", but thanks to Lebron's PR clusterfuck, overnight the Heat became the league's new villains, the All-Star squad every fan of the underdog story wants to see fail. Miami is now South Bend and the rest of the NBA is Hickory High.

Anyway, like I said it's yet another dope record from the man, though frankly I would have been more impressed if he had come up with rhymes for Mario Chalmers, Shavlik Randolph or Erik Spoelstra, I just hate the Heat, and tributes, and tributes to the Heat.
