This Week in General Awesomeness: More Lucy Pinder, Old School Partying With Eminem & More

Posted by Nathan S. on 04/19/13 | Filed under Humor, General Awesomeness
Sweet baby jesus, if there was ever a week I could use some "General Awesomeness", this is it.

As a balance to the ever popular "Fails of the Week", below is some of the best the world has to offer in the form of some vintage Dr. Dre and Eminem party footage, way back when DJ Premier was a teen, more Lucy Pinder and more.

Who Wants to Party With Dr. Dre & Eminem?

Here's a quick list of things that have happened since 2001, when this footage of Dr. Dre and Eminem partying was first taken. Eminem has cemented his place as one of the greatest rappers of all-time, Dr. Dre hasn't put out "Detox", party DJs have stopped playing DMX, America elected a black president (twice!), and Dr. Dre hasn't dropped "Detox".

Considering both were already pretty damn famous when this was taken it doesn't quite qualify for "before they were famous" status, but it's still pretty awesome to get a glimpse of rap life way back when.

"I'm..DJ...Premier. I...Make the Beats"

As long as we're doing the old school video thing, check this out...three years after GURU's death, egotrip unearthed a VHS tape (kids, ask your parents what VHS was) of a press tape for Guru and DJ Premier. First, GURU really pulled off the mustache look. God, the '90s was the best. Second, sweet baby jesus, look how young DJ Premier is! He can barely even introduce himself at the beginning of that he's so nervous.

RIP, Gang Starr for life.

Fuck Yeah Boston

I know I'm from Boston, and I know I've probably spent more time this week covering the attacks then some of you would like, but if you don't feel something when the entire crowd at the Bruins game sings the National Anthem, you don't have a soul.

In related news, I still hate the Yankees, but I genuinely appreciated this.

This Week in Boobs Are Awesome

Considering she was this week's "Mystery Booty of the Week", I thought it was only right to bring back Lucy Pinder. (I have no idea why dude who made this video decided to go with a death metal soundtrack. My recommendation? Mute and enjoy.)

Ah, boobs. Making life more awesome since...always.
