General Awesomeness Or Fail: Beyonce’s “Star Spangled Banner” Do-Over (Video)

Every now and then we're hit with a song, video, life occurrence etc. that teeters closely on the line between general awesomeness and complete fail. Need an example? Look no further than Beyonce's national anthem do-over at the Super Bowl press conference this week. After it was revealed that the songstress lip-synced her way through the national anthem during inauguration she somehow felt the need to prove that she is in fact capable of singing the coveted song live and did just that during a Super Bowl press conference.

On one hand, Beyonce absolutely killed her rendition of "The Star Spangled Banner." The singer's vocals were on point and it was pretty close to amazing. And on the other hand, it seemed like a desperate attempt at trying to make up for her inauguration fiasco. Do-over's rarely ever happen in real life so Beyonce should just go ahead and take that L for her inauguration performance and keep it moving.
