As I broke down in the podcast, Lil Wayne's recent insanity, paired with his recent craptactular album, has a lot of people saying things like, "Lil Wayne is terrible, he's not hip-hop, etc."

Whoa there, pump your brakes. Yes, the F is Weezy F might stand for "Fail" at the moment, but Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr. has been doing this hip-hop thing for a long motherfucking time. And in that time he's turned out more legitimately dope songs than most rappers ever make. Period.

So admist all of the (well deserved) negativity, for this week's RefinedHype Nation Answers I thought we'd swing the spotlight in a more positive direction and ask, "What's Your Favorite Lil Wayne Song of All-Time?"

Personally, I've got to go with "Georgia Bush", which I realize is an odd choice, but let me explain. I'm not one of these backpackers who think Lil Wayne sucks because he only raps about money and women. Weezy having a good times is undeniably good times, but in the aftermath of Katrina his ode to his hometown showed a side of him as a rapper we'd never really heard before. To this day it's the closest I think I've come to hearing the "real" Lil Wayne, and a track I've come to over and over again.

P.S. - We could do an entirely different post on best Lil Wayne VERSE, considering he's done eleventy million guest verses that would really open things up, but this time around let's focus on SONGS (a.k.a. tracks where he was the headliner: album, mixtape, loose track, whatever).
