The inevitable can only be avoided for so long and today the "Gangnam Style (Diplo Remix)" featuring 2 Chainz and Tyga was finally released. Surprisingly, the remix doesn't sound anything like the original song and even more surprising, that might just be a bad thing. The beat on "Gangnam Style (Diplo Remix)" may come courtesy of Diplo, but it still sounds pretty awful. The beat on the original record wasn't anything spectacular, but at least it was annoying in a catchy, lovable way.

On top of Diplo's mediocre production, there's questionable verses from both 2 Chainz and Tyga. I can take Tyga on the song, but 2 Chainz has become more and more terrible as of late. "I'm the bomb baby, land mine/ And I like shopping in my spare time," seriously?! Who comes up with this stuff? 2 Chainz, that's who.

Honestly, the only decent part of the song is PSY's hook, which seems to be altered a little bit for the remix. It's at that particular moment in the song when you get a break from 2 Chainz' struggle raps.
